My Eyes Hurt

I haven’t slept yet. I need to. Got off my night job at 0520 and drank the rest of Alain’s Starbucks in the car. I shouldn’t have done that cos now even though I’m really tired, I can’t sleep. I think I’m just going to take a hot shower and go into my thinking mode.

On the bright side, I qualified for the revolver and semi-auto pistol to get my CCW. I’m happy about that. We have to find a cheaper gun range cos the one we go to, charges by the hour. Someone told me of the Canadian Valley range and that charges $8 a day. I have one more night of work and I’m off the next four days! I can’t wait!!

Christina wants us to come over and shoot a few rounds. I want to show her my new pistol too; a Ruger .380, which will fit nice and neat into my pocketbook. If Alain hadn’t broken my camera, I would post it on here.

Crack Between the Worlds

I lost my love behind a wheel
a year ago on Halloween.
My swollen heart beats fast tonight
knowing our souls will reunite
in the crack between the worlds.

Velvet cloak against my skin, sweet with orange oil.
My feet are bare, cold and dirtied from the soil.
Around the fire, I dance and conjure
a spell to unearth your soul to wander
from the crack between the worlds.

I can no longer stand to be alone
into the fire I toss peppermint cones.
Light from dark, his body emerges
filling me with all sorts of urges
Inside the crack between the worlds.

This is our yard. Every time we see it, it disgusts us even more. Alain said he was going to pick rock last month, but he never got around to doing it. I did some, the ones that I could lift, but I quit since he’s not helping. One of these days, we will get rid of the rock. We are still working on the second floor of the house. I laid tile two weeks ago down in his bathroom, which I hated cos it tore up my hands and fingernails.

His Version

He let me win? Ppfft. More like I kicked his ass!! I know, its unbecoming of me, but he was asking for it. I may be short, but I grew up with three older brothers so I know how to take care of myself. We’re on much better terms now. I still think we should seek counceling, but money is tight so we might hold off on that for a little bit longer. And I only refused to sit near him because he was farting up a storm! He didn’t put that part in.

I feel much better now. :)

How To Destroy Angels

I think I like this band. I haven’t been on lastfm in forever and Daniela gave me a list of bands to listen to if I ever get a chance. So, I’m going through her list. I’ve changed the last time I posted.

I’m just a little bit more outgoing, a little more assertive of myself. When we were in Washington, I fell into a downward spiral and got mixed up with people who I thought were friends, but real friends don’t drag you down with hard drugs. Alain, I love him, got me out of that environment. He’s my Rock of Ages and even though I give him a hard time, I know I’ll probably never find anyone like him.

We’ve been fighting a lot lately. Its a money thing. I think, all couples go through it. I’m trying my hardest not to be a pain in the butt, so I suggested we go to councelling. Maybe it will do us good. I hope.

I’d almost forgotten about this blog. Its been so long and a lot has happened since I last posted. Maybe I’ll make this friends only so I can post what went on in the last few months. We’ve moved around more times than I can count!
